Senior Vice President, U.S. Store Operations Services

Craig Russell, senior vice president for U.S. Store Operations Services, leads the prioritization, alignment and implementation of all programs and projects supporting Starbucks U.S. business as well as manages the company’s Global Safety and Security functions.

Craig joined Starbucks in 2001 as vice president of retail operations for Seattle’s Best Coffee and was integral in the early developments of Seattle’s Best Coffee and the national expansion of its licensed, franchised and company-operated cafes across the U.S.

In 2006, Craig transitioned to the role of vice president, Existing Stores Strategy, Store Development. Then in 2008, he went on to serve as vice president, U.S. Store Operations Services where his commitment to serving internal customers and passion for our partners directly contributed to the successes of the company including the development and execution of the 2008 Leadership Conference in New Orleans for 10,000 Starbucks partners.

Prior to joining Seattle’s Best Coffee, Craig spent 14 years in restaurant management in the casual and fine dining industry.  When not at work, he enjoys running and spending time with family. His favorite Starbucks beverage is a Triple Tall Non-fat Latte.
